About Us

LawLytics started with the simple observation that lawyers deserve better from their online marketing. Our proprietary cloud-based software is built specifically for lawyers based on millions of points of data about how real-world clients find attorneys online.

Leadership

LawLytics was founded, invested in, and is run by lawyers. We have built and run law firms, and we know how to help you build yours. Between our leadership team, our investors and advisors, we have nearly 9 decades of cumulative law practice and legal technology experience.

  • Dan JaffeJ.D., Co-founder & CEO

    Attorney Dan Jaffe built two successful law firms and tried over 100 cases to verdict. While practicing, he launched a successful legal tech company, after which he left the daily practice of law to focus on legal tech.

  • Derek JohnsonCo-founder & CTO

    Derek is a full-stack engineer and chief architect of the LawLytics platform. When he's not obsessing over the cleanliness of the codebase, he's busy dreaming up more features than the team can possibly implement.

  • Mark FaselM.S., Creative Director

    Mark creates captivating websites and user experiences and manages the creative side of LawLytics. From front end and responsive design to backend server side technologies, Mark is well versed in the web industry.

  • Mary McMahonJ.D., LLM - Business Development

    Mary McMahon is an attorney with over 20 years experience marketing to and advising law firms. She was an adjunct professor of law at William Mitchell College of Law, and studied law in Cambridge, England.

  • Brian TedderJD, Community Management

    Before law school, Brian spent three years working as a multimedia journalist. Brian uses his media production experience to create animated and video content to help members create and maintain their websites.

  • Lora JenningsJD, Community Management

    Before law school, Lora spent several years in retail management and understands the importance of building strong client relationships. At LawLytics, she helps attorneys with their content and content creation strategy.

  • Jake KromerTech Support

    Jake Kromer heads technical support at LawLytics. He has a deep understanding of the technology, and experience in both customer service and technology.
