Online reputation building is important for law firms. Many potential clients look to online reviews as part of their decision-making process when it comes time to hire an attorney.
Your website is a great place to add reviews because you have control over what gets seen.
We make it easy to collect and display positive reviews about your firm. Read on to see how simple it is to build your online reputation with LawLytics.
How to Collect & Display Reviews With LawLytics
After you log in to your LawLytics Control Panel, navigate to the “Publish” menu and select “Recommendations.”
From here, you’ll be taken to the LawLytics Recommendations module. This module allows you to create new recommendation requests (by clicking on the green “New” button) and allows you to view outgoing requests and received recommendations.
When you click on the green “New” button, you’ll be given a new recommendation form.
Simply add the recipient’s name, email address, subject, message, and a link to your website and click the green “Send Request” button to ask for a recommendation.
For ease of use, a pre-populated message will appear — however, you can always change the message to fit your needs.
You can view recommendations that you’ve sent out by clicking the “Outgoing Requests” tab.
When a client returns a recommendation, it will appear under the “Received” tab. To change the order in which published recommendations appear on your LawLytics website, simply click the recommendation on the left-hand side and drag it up or down to change its position in the queue.
You’ll be able to review a recommendation prior to publishing it on your site. If you have more than one attorney at your firm, select the appropriate attorney from the provided drop-down menu.
You can also choose whether the recommendation is from a client or peer, as well as choosing which site to publish the recommendation to if you have more than one LawLytics site.
Should you decide after publishing that you no longer want to the recommendation to appear on your site, you can easily unpublish it. If you’re not yet ready to publish your recommendation, choose “Save Draft” to revisit it later.
When potential clients and referral sources visit your Recommendations page, they’ll be taken to an index of your published recommendations.
From there, they can select and read the recommendations that interest them most.
